The United Nations Association Center is a project of the United Nations Association of Southern Arizona, an educational 501(c)3 organization, that directs UNA Center profit to the work of UNICEF (the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund) and to local public education about the United Nations and its work.

Volunteers at the UNA Center work a minimum of one shift per week, generally 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mondays through Friday. Saturday shifts run from 10-1:30 and from 1:30 to 5:00. In November and December, a 10:00-5:00 shift is added on Sundays.
